General
My beloved partner, nude male strippers from Montreal (I miss them... Can't wait to go back to Canada!), postmodern plot-oriented gay porn, drag queens, hustlers, my hos and byotches (Holla!), sleeping (don't get enough of it!), sex, wasting my time on MySpace and Facebook when I could be doing something more productive, eating (need to go on Weight Watchers), reading, writing, introspection, foreplay, lapdances (see nude male strippers from Montreal), cuddling, films (with a vengeance!), friendly get-togethers, going to bars and clubs with friends, dancing like Chris Kattan from SNL, community service, social (and sexual, lol) activism, media studies, gender and sexuality studies, postmodernism, feminism (mostly "third wave"), existentialism, philosophy, theology, driving, sleeping - oh wait I said that already- not sleeping, being hyper, psychonalyzing shit, neurosis facsimile facsimile, counseling, advising, talking, alkeehol (Vodka and Arbor Mist my faves!), getting stressed out, being stressed out, karaoke, alternative rock, electronica, indie and foreign films, LGBT erotica, talking your fucking ears out, being loud, running like a girl, being a fairy, neurosis to the infinite power (again, facsimile facsimile ipso facto), queering the shit out of stuff, satire, dark humor, traveling to and being wild and spontaneous in places like NYC, Philly, Boston, and P-town, relaxing and chilling with people I love and learn from every day, being ZEN...
Music
Bjork (she's my GODDESS!), Radiohead, Tricky, Beth Orton, Nine Inch Nails, Placebo, Mandalay, Smashing Pumpkins, Mazzy Star, Madonna, Sara McLachlan, the Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Modest Mouse, Imperial Teen, ABBA, Erasure, the Thirteen, Flashdance, Clueless, and Saturday Night Fever Soundtracks, disco (yeah, that's right. It's stayin' alive!), 80s stuff, trip hop, electronica and techno, dance, some brainless but fun pop confections like "Toxic" and Dream, slutty pop songs like "I'm a Slave for U," Salt N' Pepa ("Body Beautiful" is my fucking song!), 702 ("Where My Girls At?" was the inspiration for my personal rendition "Where My Fags At?"), Spice Girls, Coldplay, international music (esp. Euro pop and chill music, French cafe music, Brazilian and Latino dance music and NOT the Macarena, lol), Dido, David Gray, Moby, Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, Filter, all the Queer as Folk soundtracks, Orgy, The Hives, The Vines, Violent Femmes, Robbie Williams, Jay-Z, Sheryl Crow, Tori Amos, Kelis ("My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard..." :) ), 50 cent, Ludacris, Outkast, Felix Da Housecat, Miss Kittin and the Hacker, David Gray, Enya, New Wave (B-52's rock!), Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada, Scissor Sisters, Seal- "cuz we're never gonna survive, unless we are a little crazy!" Electronic music rocks and is usually my instant liberation from any mental and emotional conundrum. :-)
Movies
American Beauty, A Clockwork Orange, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Working Girl, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Slumdog Millionaire, Hamlet 2, Margaret Cho's Revolution, Eat Drink Man Woman, The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, cuz who doesn't wanna secretly be the evil and bitchy Rebecca De Mornay character? lol, Flashdance, Cruel Intentions, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2, Taxi Driver, The Hole (gay porn spoof of "The Ring"; the funniest fucking thing on earth, lol), Michael Lucas porn cuz he's one of the sexiest men in the world, Welcome to the Dollhouse, Storytelling, Happiness, Palindromes, Pumpkin, I Heart Huckabees, Waking Life, any film that has Jude Law or Ewan McGregor partially or completely naked (i.e. Wilde or The Pillow Book), The Spanish Apartment (L'Auburge Espanole), Talk to Her, Bad Education, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Hilary and Jackie, Breaking the Waves, Dancer in the Dark, Threesome, Breakfast Club, Heathers, Thirteen, Bully, Monty Python's Holy Grail, Problem Child 1 and 2, Bride of Frankenstein, Child's Play 1 and 2, Bride of Chucky, Seed of Chucky, Carrie, All About Eve, Casablanca, Streetcar Named Desire, Last Picture Show, Network, Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex (But Were Afraid to Ask), Hannah and Her Sisters, Bullets Over Broadway, Deconstructing Harry, Anything Else, The Nights of Cabiria, My Life in Pink, My Life to Live, Me and You and Everyone We Know, Locked Up, Beautiful Boxer, The Dying Gaul, In Her Shoes, Good Night, and Good Luck, The Family Stone, Match Point, Grizzly Man, Walk on Water, and Brokeback Mountain, the most powerful and heartbreaking love story I've EVER seen (bring kleenex!, C.R.A.Z.Y., La Strada, Mysterious Skin, Scoop, and, or course, SHORTBUS!!!. In sum, WAY too many to be listed!
Television
"Sex and The City" (Carrie, Miranda, Samantha, and Charlotte are my favorite gay men on TV, lol); "Six Feet Under" (just got hooked on that show on HBO Demand); "Freeks and Geeks" (I miss that show); "Felicity" (I'd follow Ben all the way to NYC too!); "Queer as Folk" (haven't watched it in a while though); "Saved By the Bell" (Love you Zack!!! <3); "Family Matters" (Urkel is the coolest cat on the block! ;-); "Full House" (I love Kimmy!); "Mary Tyler Moore Show";"I Love Lucy"; Desperate Housewives; Veronica Mars. In my opinion, reality shows, esp. "American Idol" and the Jessica Simpson show (and Ashley's too), are the antichrists of television, lol. I avoid them at all costs unless I want a brain tumor (Unless I'm depressed. Then I end up watching "The Simple Life" and "The Surreal Life," which makes me even more depressed to see people get paid to act stupid and make fools of themselves. Hey, I do it for free in real life, and it doesn't take THAT much effort, so shouldn't I be paid a shitload of money too?). :)
Books
"Catcher in the Rye" by Salinger, "Brave New World" by Huxley, "The Sound and the Fury" by Faulkner, "The Stranger" by Camus, "Wuthering Heights" by Bronte, "Heart of Darkness" by Conrad, "Great Gatsby" by Fitzgerald, "Ordinary People" by Guest, "Avoidance" by Lowenthal, "City of Night" by Rechy, "Dancer from the Dance" by Holleran, "Giovanni's Room" by Baldwin, "Rainbow Boys" and "Rainbow Road" by Alex Sanchez, the essays of Ralph Waldo Emerson, poetry of Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath, and Anne Sexton, "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"
