art u so positive's first project was wonderfully fun, project slinky! we took a total of 194 slinkies (144 mini slikies and 50 larger slinkies) to pioneer square and passed them out. we took photos of those who were willing, which you can find in the photos section labeled "project slinky" of course! you can also find them here on flickr. we put them in both places because we need to go easy on the flickr account, unless someone wants to buy us a membership!
the members who helped carry out project slinky were blue (founder), franco and emilee. many thanks to wendi for loaning us her camera, too!
art u so positive has completed our second project, the complimentary compliments project! blue, kaytea sheffield and brad carried out the complimentary compliments project on the morning of september 26th, it was so much fun! we handed out just under 600 cards in just over an hour, starting at 4th and alder and ending around the psu campus. we tried our best to give 3 cards per person, though a few times it was 2 or 1. please feel free to let us know via comments or messages if you received a compliment card and share your experience!
you can find the photos from the complimentary compliments project here on myspace or here on flickr.
here's some video of the complimentary compliments project take with blue's digital camera:
more to come!

Hello Hello! I just wanted to let you know that I have a show coming up next week at the Gotham Tavern! It's happening on Tuesday (March 11th) at 9pm. It's a great place and they have awesome food.. If you haven't been there before, you should definitely check it out! It's right on the MAX yellow line, at 2240 N Interstate Ave, across the street from the Albina MAX station. I hope you can make it, have a great weekend :)
Hey everybody! I'll be back in Portland next week, refreshed from the Hawaiian wilderness and ready to play! I am going to be performing at the Camellia Lounge on Friday, Feb. 15th, starting at 9PM. I hope that you can make it, and have a great Valentines day. :) -- Kate Elliott
