About me:
ThePrimeSpot.TV Presents the GREEN LONG BEACH FESTIVAL Channel! Visit www.GreenLB.org and mark May 9th on your calendar!
Since 1996, 2nd Saturday Art Walk has been a monthly event in the heart of Downtown Long Beach’s East Village Art District. Enjoy art openings, fine dining, live entertainment in the cafes, and shopping all within walking distance. (Buy Art!)
The Art Walk has helped Artists of all levels and encouraged the growth of the businesses in Downtown Long Beach's East Village. It has taken a desolate section of Downtown and helped to turn it into one of the most unique destination points in Long Beach. This event is brought to you by 2nd Saturday Artwalk Organization.
Special Thanks to the following for managing the LIVE MUSIC in the streets over the years: MAXIE VILTZ of VillageTreasuresOnline.com CHASE FRANK (late 90's), ThePRIMEspot.com (2001-2003), SHELLEY RUGGTHORPE, TINDERBOX (Live Mural Painting to Music), TheOVER-REACTORS.com (2003-2005), OPEN (now located on 4th Street) and of course JENNIFER CORDAY. Special Thanks to LUCINDA McNARY for putting the Second Saturday Artwalk and LB's East Village on the Virtual map!
Who I'd like to meet: The East Village Arts District is "home" to the Second Saturday Artwalk, Tour Des Artistes, Soundwalk, University By TheSea , and at one point the Museum of Illegal Art exhibited in the streets.
