About me:
Artwallah is both a non-profit organization that cultivates and empowers the voices of the South Asian Diaspora by providing platforms for artistic expression and creating channels of communication between artists and diverse communities.
..
The ArtWallah Festival is a multi-disciplinary arts festival that showcases innovative and original work from artists and artist-activists that address political, personal, or cultural celebrations / struggles within the South Asian diaspora.
The ArtWallah Festival was founded in 1999 by the former Indo-American Cultural Center in association with the South Asian Artists' Collective to serve as a platform of expression and a channel of communication between South Asian artists and their communities. Since its humble beginnings the ArtWallah Festival has grown and continues to do so, attracting larger audiences and an increasing number of participants from all over the world.
ArtWallah allows you to share your work with a diverse audience while also offering you a venue to meet and collaborate with both established and emerging artists.
Who I'd like to meet: We want to hear from, meet, and connect with artists and donors with ethnic ties to India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan, the Maldives, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
We also want to meet all those of you who love South Asian Arts and Culture! Please let all of your friends know about us and send them to our website- www.artwallah.org
We would also appreciate being added to your 'Top 8' if you are a friend or artist of Artwallah!
