I have an autoharp, a mandolin, a concertina, and my trusty stainless steel spoons which I love to play.
Art, theatre, bluegrass music and music of any sort is all good.
Boating is my favorite thing to do...ESPECIALLY out -to- sea in the gulf stream off the Atlantic shores...... there is nothing so beautiful when you are far out at sea, and you can't see land, and the sea is as calm as glass and the full moon shines on the water and the stars are so bright.
I have been to the Sargasso Sea 200 miles out in the Atlantic Ocean when I tried commercial swordfishing for a living. But the ocean was dying even then and the swordfish were just babies. Mostly we caught 10 foot Hammerhead Sharks.
Now I love to sit at night in the river bottom and watch the barges go by on the Ohio River.
I am a clean water advocate and activist, knowing that in one hundred years, the main hindrace to the global economy is going to be clean water availability.
And I KNOW the water you are drinking has antibiotics, prescription drugs, heavy metals, horrible chemicals, and the Lord only knows what else and it's all in YOUR city tap water.
Do you take Prosac, Zoloft,Paxil, or any drugs called antidepressants which are called "ssri"s????? You make actually be doing yourself more harm than good!
HATE the fact that so many people in the US feel that they are depressed and the five top drugs sold in this country are antidepressants.

I always liked St Augustine. I thought it would be cool to live upstairs in one of those shops and run a small business downstairs. I love Anastasia beach.
..actually, i wrote my last entry in code. yeah, that sounds a little crazy, but sometimes i think i am crazy, and it freaks me out, as in, my imagination is so active that sometimes i am not sure what is real and what is just in my head. ..thanks for asking, i'd rather be crazy with company.
I am a smoker and a smoker I shall remain all the rest of my days. Due to the looks of disdain I recieved when smoking in the smoke ok places of society, I stopped actually smoking. I was a nicer person when I really smoked, but I am still friends with me in spite of my rudeness. I was taught to smoke in public schools! BTW, when we can't tax tobacco we will tax something else. No way people will not have to pay just cause they don't smoke!
My daughter was in Orlando for spring break and could see the shuttle launch from there. I’ve never seen one go up. Pretty cool. Wish I was there. It landed OK today. All I can say is God bless America. This place IS the best place on this planet and everyone knows it. Sure glad the haters aren’t in power anymore. Don’t think I’m going to eat any fish caught in the Ohio river anytime soon though. LOL
Yes I saw a special on that once and was very impressed. But its like that with everything isn't it? Did you see the special on shark trancing where they were petting the shark and when they stopped, the shark actually came closer to their hands like a cat to get pet again...I was geeked! That show brought tears to my eyes.
Last weekend, Sunday March 15, Discovery made its final journey into space, before retirement, from Kennedy Space Center, Merritt Island on the east coast of Florida. These are pictures I took from the causeway that leads to Merritt Island.
Three and a half million people held their breath and waited, on the surrounding beaches and causeways, for Discovery's scheduled launch after sunset.
