I appreciate art in all forms, but especially oil and acrylic paintings. I rarely go anywhere without my digital camera as I have an artistic eye. Writing my 2nd and 3rd novel. I love comedy, I do stand up comedy and I write all my own material. I have a great passion for the outdoors in fact I require time in the outdoors to recharge and rejuvinate both my mind, body and spirit. I love 4x4ing, camping and hiking in the mountains. I have a passion for rockhounding, goldpanning and my house is full of rocks, gemstones and crystals, (Moving is a real bitch!) I use many crystals and gemstones for healing and spiritual purposes.

TRIBUTE TO RICHARD JENI...
Richard Jeni died from suicide earlier this year. Richard Jeni had been diagnosed with severe clinical depression coupled with bouts of psychotic paranoia. One only needs to have a family member or friend with a mental illness to understand that there is nothing rational, predictable, or fair about these diseases. Mental illness is as serious as any physical affliction and can be just as devastating. He suffered from depression, I can just hear them say "Oh Richard, you can do anything you want to do. Look at you, your a successful comedian and star." He put a gun to his head when he could no longer withstand his pain.
Don't ever under estimate the power of mental illness. I was told recently by someone who should have been there as a guild, a mentor for me, that "You can do anything you want to if you pull yourself together and just do it." Then she shit on me. Did she know that 1 out of every 5 people who suffer from bipolar commit suicide, did she care? She was supposed to be this great leader in the community and a part of community inclusion, but she did not include me, because I feel pain that she cannot. Try as I may at everything I do, no there are some things I cannot, wheather they be mentally or physically.
So to those who have said to me or will in the future say to me. "Your life is only as good as you let it be." ...FUCK YOU, you don't know shit!!! You know nothing about me, nothing about my struggles and you don't care about my struggles or the struggles of others like me because you just plain don't get it.....and you never will.

I like almost all music and any beat, but I respond emotionally to most lyrics. My music choices flow with my moods and life circumstances. I'm in a Heavy Rock, Metal, Grunge, mode at the present time. At times I am a 70's buff and other times I like Mozart, Zamfir, relaxation music and some Country. My kids are into heavy punk, I like some of it, and I love to Rock with them! I enjoy watching them perform when I get the chance. I listen to music 90% of my day.
Movies
I like most movies except for cheap old cheesy flicks with dumb chicks. My favorate movies are... Clan of the Cave Bear, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Pirates of the Caribbean, Timeline, A Knights Tale, The Good the Bad and the Ugly. All Jurrasic Park, Star Wars and Star Trek movies. 300.
See even the cartoons are loons. I like a world where I can fit in.
Television
I don't watch much TV but when I do, I am a documentary buff, I like anything with history, science, space and nature. I love Greys Anatomy, Men in Trees, Jeopardy, CSI Las Vegas, Holmes on Homes and of course the Comedy Network. I can't stand reality TV, soaps and daytime TV.
