Greetings beautiful people ~ come inside my world for a little minute, I truly appreciate your time, this is a space for us to connect, for me to share my music and words with you and hopefully for you to leave a little feedback or link with me on one of the other sites out there.
2009 was a hectic year, full of choices and change... now it's 2010 I feel ready to keep pushing this thing forward. Some big things happened last year but I know it's always a road to somewhere else and I am ready for the challenge. I want to send out massive thanks to Sarah-Jane at BBC 1Xtra for choosing 'It's Time Now' feat. Deadly Hunta as Alternative Jam and to Nerm for selecting 'Who Am I?' as Hottest Homegrown on Ras Kwame's show :) Also much respect going out to the iTunes team for featuring my debut on the front page and for putting it in their 'Best of' section. Big love going out to the inspiring Nitin Sawhney as well as Bobby Friction & Nihal for supporting our track 'Last Train to Midnight'. And love to everyone who has stayed with me on this journey.
We are still out there with Strange Brew nights at the Roundhouse, Big Chill House & Dingwalls ~ I'm pushing my own vibe and message as well as sourcing other up and coming artists with something special to showcase, you may have seen the Strange Brew family hosting the Emerging Proms and our own stage at the Big Chill Festival. The industry can be a battlefield and we're doing what we can to make sure that the underground talent that needs to be heard gets heard!
Currently I'm working on a new sound... 'Roots vs Tribal Dubstep' is what I'm calling it right now, I am going to be debuting this new set at the BBC Maida Vale sessions in March and then bringing it all over. Please also keep your eyes and ears out for my new track & video 'Light Up Light Up' featuring Jah Cure. i'm also excited to be working with the legendary Mad Professor as well as on some other exciting projects which I will be revealing soon.
Don't be scared to say hey... this world has so much beauty and so much pain and it can be a trapeze act navigating through these stormy waters, stay hopeful and don't let those who would, weaken you... we can't make it alone, together we are stronger x
