Named after a female pirate legend, this fresh and rebellious songstress has achieved impressive heights as an unsigned artist with her unique brand of ‘Rebel Soul’ music; featured by iTunes, reaching the top 10 playlist on Jamaica’s biggest radio station, being selected by Radio 1 as ‘Hottest Homegrown’ and chosen as ‘Alternative Jam’ on BBC 1Xtra. Aruba has collaborated with the award winning Nitin Sawhney, legendary Mad Professor, iconic Badmarsh & Shri, superstar Jah Cure and has toured with Natty, Fat Freddy's Drop and opened for Soul II Soul. With residencies at London's Royal Festival Hall and Roundhouse, hosting her own stage at the Big Chill Festival, Miss Red rocks audiences with fiery performances and passionate lyrics.
