Dear Friends,
Arumdo is very sad to announce it has come to the end of the road for the foreseeable future.
Following a fantastic show at the Paintworks in May 2007, the company quickly fell into crisis when the debts left by the Arumdo Summer Weekender in 2006 began to catch up.
Despite our best efforts to keep Arumdo afloat it just wasn't possible and we finally had to admit defeat.
We would like to personally thank all you brilliant supporters, wild party animals, strange cabaret fans, burlesque believers, artists, festival die-hards and dresser uppers who have consistently turned up and delivered energy, flare, glamour, heckling, good vides, open minds, laughter and nonsense over the past three years.
Some of the Arumdo crew are already scheming and plotting ventures new so we will be in touch. If you are on our mailing list keep a look out, if not you can still be added by emailing us at info@arumdo.com.
We hope to see you somewhere very soon.

If you didn't come to an Arumdo event, here's what you would have seen...
The Cabaret Shows
Come along to Arumdo The Cabaret Show and be thoroughly entertained by our very own hand picked selection of comedy, cabaret and live music. We don't just serve up burlesque girls, swing music and top hats, Arumdo shows include great stand-up comedy, street dancers, circus performers, beatboxers, puppetry, obscure insanity and whatever we find that we know will wow the crowd. There's also our very own house band, dancers and compere to seam the show together and there'll be plenty of live music, good djs and dancing to see the night out. So, we hope you'll come dressed up in whatever you feel fit and join us for a rather special night of cabaret or as they say up north 'a right rum do'.
The Kid's Cabaret
We realised there was a whole new generation of little party animals that loved dressing up, watching great performance and hanging out with their buddies so we decided to launch a cabaret for kids. Much in keeping with the adult event there's a proper cabaret show with seated tables and the kid's come dressed in their bests. Ticket price includes free hot dog and ice cream.
Arumdo Club
If sitting and sipping whilst giggling and gazing isn't your bag and you'd rather jump up and down to some wicked party beats and groovy tunes, you may prefer Arumdo Club. We're taking some of the best live bands and Dj's we know to a massive party with a cabaret twist to Clockwork for a good old knees up.
Arumdo Summer Weekender
Sadly, there won't be an Arumdo Summer Weekender this year, however, we will be pitching in on other peoples events so watch this space for news of where we'll be throughout the summer. Thanks to everyone who made 2006 a wicked weekend and we hope to see you all again at an Arumdo festie in 2008!
