Hello MySpace Friends. My name is Annie Ruth and I'm blessed to be an award-winning spoken word artist/poet, author, and visual artist who shares a message of universal sisterhood and exhorts women from all walks of life. As you can see, I also love to perform my work.
I'm the author and illustrator of over 15 books, articles and inspirational commentaries. "Conversations with a Sisterfriend" and Dada Means Sister are my latest works, which were just released November 2007. The books were published to raise funds for young women's programs produced by Eye of the Artists Foundation, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit arts organization.
