ARVEST was founded by Andrey (Ander) Portnenkov in the summer of 2004 in the city of Tula (Russia). The same year Denis Ryshkin and Vitaly Kuvilkin joined Ander. In the spring of 2005 two demos were recorded – Scotland The Brave and Cruel Masterpieces , later Scotland The Brave was revisited. By the summer 2005 the “Aliro” collection with Ander’s early songs and Arvest demos was released. The song compilation, design and management was performed by Oleg ‘ Qinn’ Lyalin . In autumn the musicians started recording the album “Tears Of Burning Autumn” and in September 2006 it was recorded and mastered. For two years 2005-2006 Ander was a lead singer in a band of “Victim 4” , then he left the band and invited Dmitry ‘James’ Anisimov from the band Mengir as a bassman. And the same year Ander acted as a singer in a notorious Tula band Hidden Time (ex- Edenbeast). In the end of 2006 he sang with the band at the “Steel Attack-2” fest in the city of Kaluga. Their first show was successful but Ander chose his own project –Arvest- and decided to devote himself to it. In winter 2007 he left Hidden Time and made preparations for the release of “Tears Of Burning Autumn”. In March 2007 Roman Osetrov from “Soul Scream” became the drummer of Arvest.
