The Penguin is an online radio station broadcasting indie artists from around the world. We don't follow playlists, we make our own. If it's good, we'll play it. We don't care if it's a demo, a live take, or a studio version that cost millions.
We have roughly 27,000 songs at the radio station. The playlist consists of 200 new songs in heavy rotation, 5,000 rare or unknown songs, 2,000 more popular tunes, and roughly 100 artists in heavy rotation (those with 15 or more songs chosen for rotation). If you love music this is the station for you. Listen for ten minutes or more and you're bound to discover a great new artist you've never heard before!
Every song in the station is available by request through a system that automatically plays the song one hour later! You can even make a dedication that will be printed on the screen!
