Ascension are 5 men from across the UK, united under one dream. To conquer the world, and tear down the barriers of traditional power metal. Ascension have gained respect and great success, much more recently in its current lineup including gaining a slot at Metalfest UK with Blaze Bayley, Dragonland, Elvenking, Power Quest and more! and also completely self-organising and carrying out a Full UK tour, with now very close friends, Italian Power Metal band, Broken Melody.
Ascension have been destroying venues across the UK since 2004, and now in their most powerful lineup yet, intend to invade the rest of Europe, Japan and America, and show what Scotland has to offer the world of traditional Power Metal! Ascension have gained a reputation in the live metal scene, for outrageously powerful, and energetic live performances! with each band member always putting in 150%, whether they play to 5 people or 5000, Ascension always strive to show the audience a good time, and make sure everyone from the heavy metal worshippers at the front, to the quiet fans at the bar, all feel like a part of the show!..
