Ascension is more than music, worship is more than music. It is a time of fellowship in God's presence, a time to join with the body of Christ in lifting up the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Our focus is the spiritual awakening among young adults, yet we recognize that this movement will touch lives of every age. We are more than music and more than an event. We are people passionate for Christ, surrendered to His glory, and fervent to spread His grace!
We desire to lead people into a heartfelt, passionate place of worship of and for Christ. Our vision is to create a place were young adults can praise, pray, and learn together, then leave worshipping. We exist to be an avenue for attendees to experience God in personal ways, intently consider their lives, and be encouraged as they choose their steps through life. Our call is to provide this place for worship, do it well, keep it simple, and remain pure in the process. Ascension is not a church. We've designed this place to be an encouragement and partner to one's Christian walk and an individual's church involvement. “Beauty from Ashes” is what we are in Christ and we will strive to lead others through simplicity and focus on Him. We will make Ascension a place where Christian believers can come to worship and learn, while also being a comfortable and welcoming place for those unsure of their faith or seeking to know more. We truly feel that God has a message for those that attend, and we want to easily and loudly send back a message to Him...He is our God and there is no other like Him! Above all else, we exist to glorify Christ as we gather, and to fan the flame of passion for Christ in others. All are welcome!

This "recognition" reflects the love of Christ. Although, on most occasions, we may hang with people our own age, the love of Christ inspires a Godly heart that passionately embraces every person regardless of age, culture, walk of life or spiritual condition.
