A Season's Slumber, based in Battle Ground, WA, is the solo project of a very talented man, Ian Vidovic, defines the feeling of mellowness and the use of acoustic/electronic, but this music comes from passion.
Passion is the overall factor in the music of A Season's Slumber, as it should be in any form of art. This passion is influenced by many different mediums in Ian's life, be it the bands that he cites as his influences such as: Playradioplay, The Manchester Orchestra, City and Colour, Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service, or real-life events that cause a creative song-writing efflux. This passion is ever-growing, as Ian strives everyday to become an even better musician as the day before.
Creating a successful side project can be difficult, especially coming from a successful hardcore project, but A Season's Slumber is the epitome of what can come from hard work, passion, and a true love for what one is doing. Success comes to those who want it bad enough and create something they love. Fueled by passion, Ian is on his way to creating something that will maybe very successful in the future.
