ABOUT ME:
Hey guys, I'm Ashley. Better known as AshBo or 'that girl that made WhateverLife'. It's cool, I love it! I created WhateverLife.com when I was fourteen, and now close to being 19, it has been one helluva ride. My life is utterly confusing and complicated, but isn't everyone's? I struggle with battles just like everyone else, personally, business wise, and even financially. I am no super human.
I'm a self proclaimed designer. Graphic, Web, Interior, you name it- I love it. I can look at typography all day without a sigh of boredom. I have a good group of close friends whom I've grown to love with my entire heart. Growing up has been one of the most painful yet rewarding experiences I can explain. I run WhateverLife.com as my full time business. On top of actually creating things for the site, I'm often bogged down by every other aspect of the business, and not to mention this house! Yes I did purchase a home and let me tell you, it IS so much more work than I ever expected! See, no super human.
My favorite part of the day is hearing from you guys that you love the site, or if it even inspired you to create your own. It's overwhelming and it makes me so happy!
I'm a picky eater, but lately I've been more daring (including eating fried onions after a lifetime of hate). I laugh at what other people might think is 'idiotic' and 'immature' but I can't help it. What is life without laughter? I don't believe in just living to be rich, greedy and materialistic. I like real people in my life. I'm obsessed with decorating so much that my house often changes colors. I like to think I'm really nice. Some people might confuse sarcastic wit with being rude, but I'm only kidding! I hate hurting people's feelings, which sometimes doesn't work to my benefit, but it's in my soul.
I always feel like doodling, but without an objective I really, really suck. I buy too many art magazines and waste a lot of time trying to organize my thoughts, instead of actually doing tasks. I'm the biggest procrastinator you will ever meet, hands down. It's not a characateristic I'm proud of, but hey- I'm working on it.
I love finding weird and rare things to put in my house (one of my bathroom's has orange carpet in it...). I like my kitchen to be clean, yet I could pile clothes to the moon in my room without a second thought. If I lost my sight, I wouldn't know what to live for. Music keeps me working late at night, unless you have a Venti Double Shot on Ice (with an extra shot) waiting for me from Starbucks.
I do the whole HTML, CSS, PHP (sometimes Java & MySQL) thing in my spare and not so spare time. I have a love for words scribbled on a page that look like gibberish apparently. I'm a Photoshop CS4 Fiend, and I enjoy my Illustrator as well. I even use Jasc Animation for quick animations sometimes! I code my pages in Edit Pad Pro, and I browse currently in Google Chrome, with FireFox on the side (in case something isn't supported!)I use Core FTP, and rock out to music via Itunes. I've been addicted to The Sims 2 (and The Sims) franchise since I was nine years old. Isn't it lovely. I ♥ nerds.
