News: Ash Devine Just won and award for First Place Winner of the Audio submission category of the Twin Rivers Media Festival !!!!!------------------------------
Ash began teaching herself guitar at the age of twelve and by the time she was thirteen, she was performing in local coffee shops, and music venues. She quickly became well known for being a talented young singer song writer.

Ash is now living in Asheville North Carolina where she has started her own production company dedicated to supporting local artists and benefit causes. Ash also works part time at Asheville's WPVM helping to promote local music and events. After performing at various festivals such as Floyd Fest (VA), Lexington Arts Festival(Asheville NC), The Grey Eagle (asheville nc), and the Art of Sound Music Festival(shelby NC), Ash's music has become quite popular in Asheville and the surrounding areas.
----------------Infact, She just recently won the popular crowd vote at the Root Bar's song writer competition in Asheville, NC. Audiences are captivated by Ash's stage presence and musical performance, and the word about her talent is quickly spreading through out the east coast.

Over the years, Ash’s music has evolved into a strong all original style of music which can be loosely described as an all original folk fusion, with integrated styles of country, jazz and reggae. Her passionate voice, unique guitar rhythms and powerful, socially conscious, poetry driven lyrics are known to captivate audiences. Audience members have often described ash’s style as fresh, and “of a new essence.” Ash can perform for up to three hours of all original material, with the very occasional cover song, as needed.
Some of ash’s musical influences include folk artists such as; Joni Mitchell, Ani Difranco and Bob Dylan, and also local musicians which surrounded her throughout her life.
****** Ash has been featured as an artist at indoor venues, benefits, annual festivals and other events such as; Lexington Arts Festival, The Fringe Festival, Floyd World Music Festival ’02, ‘05 (featuring Ani Difranco, David Grisman and many others ), Stepping Out (Blacksburg’s Street Festival, annually), Rock the Vote( Syracuse, NY ‘04), Blacksburg’s First Night, The Annual School of America’s Protest ( Fort Benning G.A. ,Featuring Pete Seeger ). -----------------------------
