ASHA D was born in France from a jamaican mother and a spanish father.
he grew up in a musical environement and beginn to make music at a very early age
His first steps on stage was in1992 as a drummer.
He is now a menber and co-founder of the ARTIKAL MUSIC label and he's also the drummer in the ARTIKAL BAND wich is one of the most active reggae band in France, playin with Jamaican carribean and frenc artist such as Sister carol, The heptones, Jah mali , Ras shiloh, Natural BLack, Queen omega, Natty king,
tiwony,straika d, janik, makajah kousi, vybrate, netna, and many more....
He's also the a versatile producer and beatmaker for the artikal music label,
workin in his studio on HIP HOP REGGAE OR DANCEHALL beats...
He also collaborates with many independant artists or labels.

Asha D est né à Montpellier, d’une mère franco-jamaïcaine et d’un père espagnol. Il grandit dans un univers imprégné de musique et c’est en 1992 qu’il monte sur scène pour la première fois en tant que batteur.
Il est un des membres fondateurs du label ARTIKAL MUSIC et batteur d'un des band les plus actifs en France. ARTIKAL BAND, avec lequel il accompagne de nombreux artistes jamaïcains (SISTER CAROL, NATURAL BLACK, THE HEPTONES, RAS SHILOH, JAH MALI, ROD TAYLOR, QUEEN OMEGA.....), et "hexagonaux" (TIWONY, STRAIKA D, LYRICSON, BABY G, JANIK, NETNA,VYBRATE,MAKAJAH, KOUSI...)
Il est beatmaker et producer du label ARTIKAL MUSIC.
Il travaille dans son studio ARTIKAL STUDIO sur les projets du label mais compose également pour d'autres labels et différents artistes.
