Music
I love it all! This past year I have started to realize how much I truly love music. All music. My favorite band changes quite often. I'm kind of going through this rock phase where all I wanna do is go to concerts and start mosh pits. I was so angry after the Breaking Benjamin/Three Days Grace show when I didn't even have one single bruise.
Movies
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure is the best. I love all the Harry Potter movies, but Goblet of Fire is my favorite. All time faves include Pretty Woman, Monty Python & the Holy Grail, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, My Best Friend's Wedding...and of course Napoleon Dynamite. You are Deb and you could drink whole milk if you wanted.
I watched every episode of American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. I also got somewhat into Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader. I love Spongebob. My favorite channels are VH1 and the Food Network. Lately I've been really into shows like 10 Years Younger and What Not To Wear.
Books
I just finished all the Harry Potter books. I'm so proud of myself!!! It took me like 9 months to finish Order of the Phoenix but Half Blood Prince I finished in one week and Deathly Hallows only took 3 days! I like kids poetry like Shel Silverstein books and kids books. And COOKBOOKS! I love the "101 things to do with a cake mix/tortilla/crockpot" and all those!

My parents and siblings. I know that our family could easily be considered "dysfunctional" but we've made it through so much and as I grow older I am really starting to appreciate them so much more than I ever have.

I love hearing from friends old and new alike. Please comment me, it'll put a smile right on my face. I teach 6th grade. My husband Jay is the cutest "paint nerd" you'll ever meet. I'm a Cedar High School 2001 grad and a SUU 2005 grad. I'm a proud Alpha Phi (woot woot to my sisters!) I love sleeping, going out to eat, dancing, American Idol, and talking to myself. I really miss all my St. George friends and my Bloomington kids and colleagues, but I am really enjoying teaching at Sandy Elementary this year. 6th graders are definitely a handful, but it's a lot of fun! Every day is a new adventure.

I am a Teacher.
I was born the first moment that a question leaped from the mouth of a child.
I have been many people in many places...
Throughout the course of a day I have been called upon to be an actor, friend, nurse and doctor, coach, finder of lost articles, money lender, taxi driver, psychologist, substitute parent, salesman, politician and a keeper of the faith.
Despite the maps, charts, formulas, verbs, stories and books, I have really had nothing to teach, for my students really have only themselves to learn, and I know it takes the whole world to tell you who you are.
I am a paradox. I speak loudest when I listen the most. My greatest gifts are in what I am willing to appreciatively receive from my students.
Material wealth is not one of my goals, but I am a full-time treasure seeker in my quest for new opportunities for my students to use their talents and in my constant search for those talents that sometimes lie buried in self-defeat.
I am the most fortunate of all who labor.
A doctor is allowed to usher life into the world in one magic moment.
I am allowed to see that life is reborn each day with new questions, ideas and friendships.
An architect knows that if he builds with care, his structure may stand for centuries. A teacher knows that if he builds with love and truth, what he builds will last forever.
I am a warrior, daily doing battle against peer pressure, negativity, fear, conformity, prejudice, ignorance and apathy: But I have great allies: Intelligence, Curiosity, Parental Support, Individuality, Creativity, Faith, Love and Laughter all rush to my banner with indomitable support.
And who do I have to thank for this wonderful life I am so fortunate to experience, but you the public, the parents. For you have done me the great honor to entrust to me your greatest contribution to eternity, your children.
And so I have a past that is rich in memories. I have a presentthat is challenging, adventurous and fun because I am allowed to spend my days with the future.
I am a teacher...and I thank God for it every day.

I totally tell everyone about Jk Jewelers! my friend tracee got her ring there and she loves it, that's how i found out about it. i tell eeeeveryone. seriously. not all the big name people are best. we got the best ring for the best deal at jk. LOVE IT. and yay for your BRAND NEW BABY BOY!!!! i love 'em fresh out of the oven...:-)
I havent got any new pictures for a while, so Im sure you have the same ones, plus I dont have a scanner or Id be able to help you out far more. good luck though. Its gonna be a good one this year. My presents are hilarious. I had a rule that if it didn't make me laugh I couldnt buy it.

ASHLEY! (girl your not old! LoL) Yes I did take pictures, but Beccas camera was the one that took the big group picture :( I will put mine up soon though! Because it was so much fun I want everyone to see haha :) but yeah I'll talk to becca and see where that cute picture is of all of us ;)
Ive got some presents for ya. I dont have any time to even sleep or breathe anymore.. but Ill try and get em down to you soon when I do find some. Lemme know on that pizza deal. As long as you tell me a day ahead of time I can pull it off. We hook schools up fat... as in we get all the kids fat in no time.
