AshleyBORG WarmUp Promo Nov09 by Ashley Borg
Up & Coming House & Techno DJ.
Ashley 'Borg' Thompson, has been a avid lover of electronic music since 1992. Born into a typical West Indian family, who loved Reggae, Mowtown, RnB and Rap. Ash’s formative years were heavily influenced by music. With several family members involved in the London Reggae sound systems, Ashley would always try to make his own sounds be it through beatbox, or using two tape players, and fiddling with the graphic equalisers.
By the age of 10 Ash felt a desire to expand his music horizons looking for something which he could call his own. He would scan the many London pirates every weekend looking for “the sound” which related to the burning energy he possessed. One day in 1992 he found Dream FM & Hardcore music. Ash felt an immediate connection with this style, which has progressed throughout the years from genres such as Jungle - DnB - Breaks through to House & Techno...../////........
In the Year 2000, Ashley began mixing Drum N Bass, firstly as a bedroom DJ progressing to gigs in his University student union bar, and then on to Pirate Radio station Jam Hot in East London.
In 2006 Ash’s tastes shifted more towards the House & Techno scene, leading him to begin collecting tunes from these genres from late 2007. Between the time of 2007 & 2009, Ashley has worked tirelessly at building a varied collection and honing his own style of playing. In 2009 Ashley broke into the public domain with the Berlinesque Sessions mix, which was chosen by darkaudio.co.uk as their podcast for September receiving over 1000 hits on itunes. Also in 2009 Ashley has managed to break into the London Bar circuit playing at Club Life, Gigalum & Inigo, playing to packed venues and gaining the appreciation of the listening crowd...../////.....
Ashley is currently available for bookings in London & surround areas, his mixes can be found on

Hi! Some info about our new release. Thanx for your support.
Productos BMM presents:
BMM 33 Tantrum Light LSD Island EP with the remixes of Paul Hunter, Da Trash & Zimaleto Genre: Minimal, Techno, Tech-House.
Some comments: Carsten Rausch: The Da Trash Remix is a cool piece of percussive Techno. I will definetely play that. Dave James: Yeh I like the original trippy vocals. Galuszka: Tantrum Light offers a track that is straight up techno. The mood of the original mix is very Terminator 2 (Judgment Day) in its vocal work and sound choice. The remixes of this project ad funk, especially the Da Trash remix with it's rolling quality. Bodgan Taran: I just love the melody on Zimaleto remix of LSD Island. The Reddman: I listened all the remixes and was very impressed! I have to say I just loved the Paul Hunter remix of the LSD Island track. There was something about it that just kept the groove going for me. Moog Conspiracy (Elektrotribe / Buena Onda): I ll play Tantrum light - Da Trash remix. Marc Fuccio (Fresh DJS): Favoutite mix is Paul Hunter remix. Wicked groove of a bass line that instantly got me to my feet. Great production and construction. Graeme Park: I really like the Zimaleto Remix of Tantrum Light's LSD Island. Such a great groove. <a href="//www.beat
