Ashleyroad is the brain child of one singer/songwriter called Deejay residing in the sunny state of Brisbane, Queensland Australia. The music is a mixture of melodic emotive tunes mixed with the obscurity of some very different "tunings" that turn out to be quite a complimentary combination of soulful, honest, music.
Ashleyroad was formed to help fuel the ongoing passion and desire to make not just music, but to be able to write and compose music that people can relate to on all different levels. Whether to make you feel better, make you jump around like a lunatic, or completely play with your heart strings... it doesn't matter, as long as the audience can relate to the music on a individual level. Thats all that counts.
With the addition of Dan and James to the lineup, Ashleyroad is ready to show the world what we can do. A demo is in the works, and a couple of "warm up" gigs have been played. Check back for dates and times of where you can catch us playing.
