I enjoy almost all music, but appreciate it even more on a random playlist for the variety. My play list includes Michael Buble, Coldplay, Classical, Shane and Shane, Josh Groban, Jack Johnson, Soundtracks, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, international, the beach boys, Bebo Norman, Jeremy Camp, and the list goes on. The only genre that rarely makes it on my list is rap.

I love to read. It's a renewed hobby of mine. I'm not real picky but I enjoy something that makes me think. In fact, sometimes my favorite books are ones I don't agree with just because of what I learn from reading them. Feel free to give me suggestions. About me: I love God. He is the constant in my ever-changing life. I have a lot of dreams and passions. I enjoy travel and love the people I come in contact with wherever I am. I’m afraid my list of hobbies is becoming the size of a small bookstore, but it means that I am almost always entertained. Photography, travel, music, family, exercise, cooking, tea, painting, reading, writing, hiking/camping/backpacking, learning languages. Don’t be fooled. I’m not necessarily good at all of these, they just bring me joy. Some of my goals for the future are to publish a children’s book, graduate from nursing school, learn at least 3 languages, spend time overseas with Medical mission work, and to eventually settle down with a family of my own. And just a few random Ashley facts: I’m learning to use a spoon but much prefer a fork, I switch toothbrushes very frequently, I cut my eyelashes and I dream in black and white. I love window-shopping, and stargazing. I love when the seasons are just changing although fall is my favorite. There is nothing like the smell after a first rain in a long time. I love mail. Puddles and rain-boots make me happy. I am easily entertained and love a good laugh. But I still enjoy intelligent conversations. I love bright colors, ice cream, and sometimes I am a hopeless romantic but I love life.

ell, actually I'm not in Portland for the summer. That's bad luck for us. I'm home with the family, but I may be there by the end of August and I'm guessing you won't head back up to Walla Walla for at least a few weeks! Hopefully we can catch eachother then. It's been good being home. Lots of little projects some artzy and some just organizational, but it's nice to have the time to do them. What are your happenings?
I so deeply enjoyed talking to you in your in process of tearing down and yet still utterly cute. It's amazing how the weekend sped on through. Are you back home? I really forget what the plans were. That week is quite the blur. My parents ask me certain questions about some friends they know well, and I don't have answers and yet I know I asked them the correct questions. Anyhow. My sister lives up in the mountains in a national forest its been snowing since I've been here and its peaceful and beautiful.
