Ashley is my alter ego, because she says things I won't say and makes a fool out of herself often and readily. I totally miss that part of me, the weird, dorky, funky-dressing high school cheerleader who never quite fit in. I'm an adult now, mother to four kids, but Ashley, the convertible-driving spoiled brat will never fully leave me.
Who I'd like to meet: Okay, this is stupid, but I would love to meet Adam Ant, who I was obsessed with in high school. I'd also love to have a chat with Boy George -- this is a man who needs some compassion I'm thinking.
So...someone from today...hmmm. I would love to meet Ann Coulter, just because I so wish I could be that boisterous. That girl has guts!
Oh that made me think of another. I would love to meet Tyler Perry, who I think is one of the most talented people on the planet! Madea rocks, and if you don't know who she is, go buy Tyler Perry's book on BN.com. Hilarious and SOOO true.

Hey Kristin: Just dropping by to say I hope you are have a fun filled summer. I finally made it to San Fransisco, the bad news we had to go in the evening and only got to stay for a short time. We had a meeting in Sacramento, rented a vehicle and drove over to see the city. I can see why you talk about the city alot in your books, it has it's own personality. We just wished it would have been daylight and that we would have had more time. Also I met a wonderful MySpace friend Belrina on your page. We occassionaly get to talk and both enjoying sharing good reads with each other. Just thought I would drop a line and say have a great summer!!

I'll be praying that it happens for you, what an exciting time. I am finally getting to visit CA for the first time. Oh I've been reading through the Ashley Stockingdale series again. It’s been great. Though I did notice a comment I made previously about what Ashley would and would not wear was wrong... she does wear a strapless dress at Dave's wedding. Lol.

When I read "What a Girl Wants" I laughed so hard I was in tears!! I manage my churches 2 bookstores, so I've been fortunate to introduce a lot of readers to Ashely and friends and they have all loved them as much as I have! Every time a new book comes out I can't keep them on the shelf. :)
No comments about the new Bachelor? Personally I thought it was cool that at least he considered getting wasted to be something he didn't want in a wife.
Hi Kristin! Just finished Spilt Ends! The book finally came in Yesterday... It was great! I found it was quite different to your other books... maybe even a slightly different writing style..? But like that others, priceless. What I really liked... and is so great with all your books... is the way the story line is not predictable. Stuff happens that you don’t expect, like the twist with Dane's background =) Ok I shan't write a novel here now... Thanks for the great read! xxx Belinda
