The unique sound of Ashlynn Ivy, along with guitarist Dave Macha, is reminiscent and highly influenced by early southern roots music and blues from the twenties. Like a stout drink with a blend of gin and a splash of holy water, there is something both sinful and revelatory in the music produced by these two talented musicians, born and raised in the mid-county area. Bringing with them an appreciation for all things of the past and a blend of styles, hints of jazz, gospel, rock, and blues, Dave and Ashlynn create songs that seem timeless. And when fellow crooner, Adrienne Foster joins in the mix, not only are their melodies haunting, but their harmonies inspire fits of jealousy from both birds and angels. Adrienne Foster can be found playing shows in Beaumont and the greater Houston area, and Ashlynn Ivy and Dave Macha perform regularly in Beaumont and recently returned from their SXSW debut.
