Love is like a butterfly
in so many, many ways.
It brings a bit of sunshine
even on gloomy days.
It makes our souls feel lighter
just to know it's there
And gives our spirits wings,
as if floating in the air.
It carries us to places
that we never knew before
And comes in many sizes,
shapes and hues galore.
Once we've seen it,
we wish to hold onto it so tight
But like a frail butterfly,
we must allow it free flight,
For if we should try to cage it up
and hold it in a pen,
We'll surely crush its wings,
and it'll never fly again.
To keep that love glowing
in our hearts each day,
We must remember always
to give some of it away.
Every little bit we give to
someone else to share
Comes back tenfold,
and we've so much to spare.

im thru with everything, & everyone. if uve ever felt alone or like the world wasz against you then u know how im feeling. im done needing people, im never asking anyone for help or support or whatever anymore. all the independent people can understand that feeling. most of yall havent done anything to me but this isz just something i have to do cusz i have to focus. hardworking people can relate. i have to put my all into my music if i want to make things happen. cant make music if im out doing other thingsz. n im tired of hearing peoples mouths & complaints so thats why i dont want anything from anyone. jus being real, n rite now im real pissed

Dancing With God
When I meditated on the word Guidance,
I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word.
I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.
The movement doesn't flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.
One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing Lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
The dance takes surrender, willingness,
and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.
When I saw "G": I thought of God, followed by "u" and "I".
"God, "u" and "i" dance."
God, you, and I dance.
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that I would get guidance about my life.
Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God's blessings
and mercies are upon you on this day and everyday.
May you abide in God, as God abides in you.
Dance together with God, trusting God to lead
and to guide you through each season of your life.
