Groupe de Rock/Pop/Electro, ASH OF SOUND est issu de l'ancienne formation Damona Morrigan. C'est en avril 2005 que Jimmy ( chanteur/guitariste) du groupe, est venu se joindre à Christian ( lead guitare ) Pascal ( bassiste ) Rémy ( batteur/voix ) . Au départ axé sur la Pop/Rock le groupe s'est attaché à interprêter uniquement ses propres compositions. Plus tard, afin d'étoffer leur répertoite et en prévision de concert live, les membres du groupe ont choisi quelques titres emblématiques de leur style musical: Hysteria ( Muse ) Vertigo ( U2 ) Better end ( Placebo ) ... Après un an de travail intense en commun, le groupe se produit sur les scènes de l'Est de la France: pubs, festivals, salles de concert, manifestations diverses. C'est ainsi qu'il a participé au téléthon 2006 à Hoerdt, Festival de Bust en Lorraine, Tremplin Rock les Renc'Art à Obernai, où il a remporté son ticket d'entrée au Festival d'Albi en juillet 2009. Mai 2007, nouvelle étape pour les ASH OF SOUND. Souhaitant enregistrer un cd promotionnel le groupe fait la rencontre de Nicolas ( sampling ), avec qui il travaille tout de suite en étroite collaboration. Ressentant un besoin de faire évoluer le style d'Ash of Sound ses membres proposent à Nico de se joindre à eux fin 2007. A partir de ce moment le groupe reprend en totalité son répertoire pour le rearranger dans le style Rock/Electro. Commençant à être connu, Ash of Sound a été repéré par Mike Obri animateur d'une émission musicale à Télé Alsace, et s'est produit sur son plateau le 26 Mai 2008. Après un an de travail intense en studio Ash of Sound sort son premier album le 9 juillet 2009. Digipack autoproduit , pressé par l'agence Limbo , il contient onze compositions propres au groupe.

Suite à la participation de SWERVE au concours nrj-ffbde pop-rock cast, un jury de professionnels s'est regroupé le vendredi 11 décembre 2009 et a décidé que SWERVE est « LA Révélation NRJ-FFBDE pop rock de l'année ». SWERVE se produira donc sur une scène parisienne début 2010… En attendant, « Hooked » est diffusé sur GOOM Radio !
