Hey Guys, So most of you know about the Breast Cancer Awareness Comp (in memory of my mom Gerry Wilson) that was set to be July 21, but we are going to postpone the date to September 8. Redpoint Indoor Climbing Gym is having a series of 3 comps (known as the Mantel Warfare) that run similar to the Triple Crown & the 1st one is Sept 8th. We have decided to combine the Breast Cancer Comp with the 1st one of these Mantel Warfare Comps so we can make even more donations to help find a cure to Breast Cancer. You definitely do not want to miss out on this comp now, there will be fantastic prizes, routes (not to mention the top out boulder wall), & of course an incredibly awesome atmosphere. Redpoint has also decided that who ever gives the largest donation to support Breast Cancer awareness will get a free guided trip up at the New River Gorge. Hope the new date doesn't conflict with anything & please do mark your calendars for this one. You don't want to miss it!! thanx so much Heidi
Oww well im really glad your getting better. Yeah my day was pretty laid back too. i only got on 2 routes. i've never been a big fan of ropes but i did enjoy working on ethnic cleansing (12b in the right bunker) so that made my day pretty good (also the swimming @ the falls was brillant). as for nantionals i am not going. i'll actually be in england @ that time. my mom wanted her ashes spread on top of hellvellen, wich is like the 2nd tallest mtn. over there, so @ least i'm missing nationals for a good reason. i do wish you the best of luck & let me know how you did.
