The evolution of how Ashton developed it’s calculated, pop-influenced and professional sound began in South Reno, NV in 2002. Originally a five-piece, Ashton began as a pop-punk outfit echoing groups like the Ataris and The Starting Line. After a number of bassists, drummers and guitarists, Ashton matured into the supersonic concise indie-rock effort they are today.
Defined by the variety of influences that affect the end product such as Recover, Jimmy Eat World, Radiohead, Hot Rod Circuit and more, Ashton has always enjoyed fantastic success and support in their hometown of Reno as well as all over the west coast. Fresh off their second release and third west-coast tour, Ashton’s current members include Kraig Morgan on lead vocals and guitar, Vinnie Gravallese on lead guitar, Mike McAnally on bass, and the newest addition Andrew Garcia on drums, Ashton’s energetic and dynamic stage performance and overt professionalism has made them a favorite in Reno’s indie rock scene and throughout the Western United States.
Their years of adaptation and development show in their punctual and fervent stage performance. Ashton has played with a wide variety of acts that include Yellowcard, My Chemical Romance, Hellogoodbye, the Mad Caddies,Branston,Halifax, Park, the Stereo, Copeland, Mae, Openhand, Punchline, the Rx Bandits, the Higher and many more. They look forward to writing new material and getting back on the road, drawing an ever larger crowd of increasingly enthusiastic fans into their broad base of support.

Hey! How are you?! We haven't heard from you in a while! Which is lame. So, let's change that, k? Cool. Now that we're best friends, we have 2 new songs up on the page, and we'd love to hear what you think! So come by, listen to 'em, chat with us, you know...all that jazz. We'd love to hear from you! So don't let us down, cause then we'd be sad. And how can you write goofy songs if you're sad?! I KNOW! It can't happen!
Hey guys! How are you? Long time no see well talk lol. Miss you guys any chance for a tour soon? You promised to come play for me... I hope to hear you guys live one day. :) Hope all is well <3 Pam
