CelebrAsian is an annual cultural heritage festival hosted by the Iowa Asian Alliance in Des Moines, IA. It showcases various cultural displays from the diverse and vibrant Asian community in Iowa. Some of the activities at the festival this year include a fashion show, a concert headlined by Legaci, a martial arts demonstration, and villages displaying crafts, arts, and food each represented by a different Asian ethnicity.
Whether you're Asian or not, whether you are here just for the food or music, or you just spend time outdoors, CelebrAsian is open to any and all visitors. All we ask is that you bring a fun, positive attitude so we can all help make this event a great time for everybody!

UPDATE:
The first round of Next SensAsian was held on March 12-13. We had many talented contestants audition, but if you missed the first round of auditions and are still interested, we still want you to apply! The second round will be held on April 11th from 1:00-8:00pm at the Grand View University Student Center Multi-Purpose Room.
You can register just as you would before, either by signing up at CelebrAsian.org or emailing entertainment@iowaasianalliance.com at least 48 hours prior to the event.
UPDATE:
The second round of Next SensAsian was held and both the existing contestants and the wild card entries did a great job. If you missed it, we have closed registration. However, we plan on having the contest again next year and encourage you to start practicing and apply then.

Looking to get involved with the CelebrAsian? In addition to becoming a friend and attending the festival, there are a variety of ways to join. There is a volleyball tournament, a sepak takraw tournament, and a martial arts competition you can enroll in. You can also become a vendor, join as a volunteer, or make a contribution. Interested? UPDATE:
We have had many volunteers register for the festival, but we still need a few more! If you are still interested in volunteering to work on the day of the festival, you can register at the registration page.
