Formed almost by fluke 'As In Happy' has become a living breathing musical experience for performers and patrons alike.
The founding members Ray Jaworski and Stephen Prevost started making music after Prevost had left Winnipeg to pursue new things in Vancouver. They started by showing each other things they had written and bouncing ideas off of each other. Eventually they formed a satirical band 'The Legend of the Rent'. While it was good song writing experience for both of them the satire only went so far musically.
They stopped collaborating for a short period so they could both grow as musicians in a solo setting see 'Stephen Prevost' and 'Ray Jaworski'.
Soon, word was, Mr. Prevost was heading back to Winnipeg. When he arrived back in the city. Almost immediatley the two got together and began sharing in The Sweetest Taboo. Since then they have recorded a few decent demos that are being re-shaped daily.
Most recently the group brought in a new member; 'André Gomes' His musicality and songwriting skills are being merged into the group with much success. With intuitive basslines and the voice of a cherub André is expected to be well recieved by fans.
Unfortunately, Stephen and André decided to leave the band to further pursue their musical inspiration in a new group named Post War England. Ray Jaworski is keeping As In Happy alive and bringing a new sound to it's classic songs. Keep in the loop for the critically acclaimed and historical group by checking back here often!
Shows are coming, more songs are coming. As In Happy is coming.
