About me:

Finally you can ask a travel agent anything!

Here is a space you can post a question to one of the top 10 travel agents in the United States. I have been an agent since 1996 and am a destination specialist with over 20 different tourist boards around the world. Your questions can be big or small, but your answers will always be within the guidelines & rules and regulations of the travel industry, not an opinion of a fellow traveler.

Here are a few examples:

Question: I’m traveling from Rome to Paris and connecting from Paris to New York. What time do I have to be at the airport?
Answer: Because of the new EU it is considered “Domestic Travel” and that requires a 1.5 hr check in. However, if you were going from Rome to London, London is NOT part of the EU and that is a 3 hour “International Travel” check in.

Question: "I'm going to Amsterdam and staying at a hostel. Is it dangerous?" From a first timer to Europe

Answer: Heck yes it is if your at all stoned and in the red light district. The best you can hope for is getting pick pocketed. No doubt most backpackers are going for the legal cannabis and maybe a little slap and tickle, but let me tell you, its powerful cannabis folks. Junkies are looking for you to stumble around and look stupid. Now, if your a good little boy or girl and sober, smart, and willing to put up with the freak show you are not part of, then ummmm... ok, but it does sound a bit boring, right? So…no. Don't do it, if you can afford just a wee bit more $$ go for a cheap place in the Leidsaplain and go buck ass wild there, crawl back to your room and use the toilet in privacy for the love of god. Jeez. But if you can't afford it, you best keep your eyes and ears to the grind stone brothers and sisters, and be ready for a really sucky story to tell the buddies back home

What’s the best place to live in the United States. Hum. Well, geez… that’s the question of all questions my friend. Answer: depends on you. I had to take a look see at your profile and get a little insight. Let’s see you like: mangoes, tim tams and white chocolate and little girls under 11. That would lead me to some kind of serial killing state. My free of charge research shows that the highest rate of serial killers come from the west coast. With that said, you also like your van and(handy with the little ones but also great for carrying a surf board. I say San Diego. Good hunting freak-show.
