About me:
LIL MACC LOCO Bka Charles Ligons, Was Born April 18 1973 to a Minister of the church, and a nurse from Cedar Rapids Iowa. His family moved west to Glendale Arizona in 1978 was he found his first love “Music” in the church choir. Dreaming that someday making and writing his own music he found the hip hop life style, were he was able to show his own creativity mixing the old southern Baptist church style mixed with the hip hop that he grew up to. between 1985 and 1987 Lil macc loco started with a few other people started building a hip hop culture in Arizona that would take off like a wild fire back then Macc was a DJ on the weekends were he would spin records freestyle over instrumentals break-dance against crews and be a part of a group called Universal Concept and watch rap/hip hop grow in the community. In 1988 Lil Macc’s family then moved farther south to Maryvale (Phoenix)were he met a couple of gangster’s that would play a very important role in Macc’s musical career you know them by Irain Roca Dollar Daniels aka Iroc loc and Jabbar Rodgers aka j-b-fly aka j-boog aka Bronx weathers. Then Macc got confused if he wanted to rap or Bang that he had to go up state for a few years, he then made up his mind when in CB8 lockdown for fighting in 1994 he herd Irain Roca Dollar Daniels, and Jabbar Rodgers on the radio. At that point Macc decided to spend his time homing in on his craft. He recorded his first demo in 1997 in Douglas prison on a wired up rigged dual cassette deck were he paid a white dood (Name unknown at this time) a six pack of soda to record and play live instruments and he came with 3 tracks The face of Death, represent, and the shit starter. Macc was released from prison in 1998 and he took his demo and shopped it around to his homeboy Manson who he knew from banging being locked up with, Macc found that his homeboys would burn that bridge because they never stopped banging. Relentless to not give up, Macc took his demo to Sir Speedy with P.O.W Records who was going through some management changes at the time and a group called Beautiful Black solders (BBS) Bka Shawn brooks and Ryan Jones he was able to re-recorded The face of death to a beat made by Foresight aka Eric early, with the attempt to reshop his demo with better quality production. Unfortunately he was shot down by everyone like Laroo who at the time had a hit song with Mayhem and video with Mc Eiht, and was also shot down by 4-Life records who had just put out Bookies album Stressin, Macc saw that getting sighed to a label was not happening that he decided to go Independent and put together a solo album Called ” The Walking Dead Man” a Name given to him by a fellow convict in Perryville prison in 1995.Were Macc worked with the likes of Skit’ so from Desert Rida, Dre’Biz from Ciarra vista, and Foresight from 8919 Productions. Macc was able to find worldwide digital distribution excepting all forms of currency witch at that time was unheard of and very new in the digital music world we no now. The songs off that album gained him recognition in the industry working with the likes of Gonzo of the regime gang, E-Moe aka e-major from sic made music, and Mac Jeff the lizard Man. Macc also Managed to find a long time friend who he first shot his demo to in 1998 by the name of Sir Speedy who remembered Macc and they instantly began production on the new album coming in October of 2009 “Make Way 4 the Dead Man “This album definitely shows progression and with working with the likes of Slow Moe, Kid Brown, Johnson productions, Hoggbeats, D-Bunk, Roca Dollar, Bronx, Rinoe and Sir Speedy. It’s definitely going to knock your socks off, With giving J-Luv, Chazz Pratt, and Billy Towns a preview of the album Macc has gained the drop for 98.3’s the Pulse that comes on between 1:00am and 4:00am on Saturdays, also following that up with Border lords II movie sound track due to premiere in October of 2009 were macc will release Make way 4 the Dead Man to the Public.
