About me: The Askew club night was set uo by Dj's Barry Dust, Joe Le Force and Gareth Stephens. Originally hosted at the Jazz Place moved to Audio and then the Zap before returning back to The Jazz Rooms.
Askew was established in 2001, guest DJ's have include Zed Bias (Maddslinky/Phuturistix) ,Bugz In the Attic, Gilles Peterson, Jonny Miller (Phuture Lounge), Benji B, Domu , Carl Faure (Black Grass), Blackbeard, Earl Zinger and others.
We also run the record label Askew Recordings, the first release is by Mr J - Calling Out (Maddslinky Remix) / Maddslinky - Spilt Milk. Followed by "Somethin' Extra" by Maddslinkyft Jenna G. And just out 4 killa remixes of "Somethin' Extra" by the mighty Domu!! Support for these records at the Co-op club and from DJs Bugz In The Attic, IG Culture, Mr Scruff, Jay Da Flex Rob Luis, Blackbeard, Faze Action, Hint etc. Radio play and support DJ'S Gilles Peterson, Beniji B, Kev Beadle and others.
