We're Ask Me Anything. We started out when Mikey Gillette picked up a 40 year old acoustic guitar and started writing. Soon after, his long time friend Dallas Boyd joined on bass and backing vocals. At this point, they were very folk-oriented, and based out of Mikey's home, which they quickly outgrew. They soon sought a drummer, and found their answer in Kyle Chappell. The three decided that they needed something more, someone to play lead over their songs. They found the perfect addition in Davey Epic, another long time friend of Mikey and Dallas. Upon the arrival of our fourth member, Ask Me Anything was completed and we've begun writing new material, ranging from acoustic and mellow to galloping indie rock. We've played a few shows around the area, from cornfields to local venues. Our EP, No Not Yet is finished and will be available very soon at our shows. Thanks to everyone who's taken the time to read this and get acquainted with us :]
We're playing a special Fredericksburg-only CD release show THIS Friday (April 10th). We'll be playing the entire CD live along with special guests and a big surprise at the end. Our brand new CD and brand new t-shirts will be for sale. And, the show is FREE! 7pm @ The Library w/ Carlos I'm Pregnant and The Like Whatevers.
It's been pretty good so far. That road trip that we were collecting change for way back when has come and gone, and it was AMAZING. But because of that, we haven't really done anything new musically for the last month or two. Pretty much we're just getting ready for our last show for a while on August 6th. It's down in chesterfield and the line up is sick. Definately excited about that one.
So yeah, if ya guys need anything, I am totally open for commisions, also, Dallas, send me those original copies of your youtube vids so I can finish your DVD
