О группе A SKY HARBOR (SHOW DEC 8th w/ FIGHT FAIR!!!)
Sky harbor formed in the beginning of 2009 with the mentality of a fresh start for the musicians involved. Coming from several different musical backgrounds and different locations ranging from LA all the way down to San Diego, the guys have come together to create a blend of powerpop, rock, and hardcore. They got together with the idea of making a mark on the music scene but also by playing the music that they wanted to hear.
Although A Sky Harbor has only been around for a few months, their road hasn’t been an easy one. The band has gone through several members before solidifying their current lineup. On top of that they have been forced to relocate several times until they finally settled down in San Diego. Yet despite all of this the guys have succeeded in creating a buzz in southern California and landing shows opening for acts such as The Higher, The Scenic, and Ivoryline.
The near future holds many promising things for A Sky Harbor. They currently have a demo that they recorded at Alder Street Studios and will be returning in October to record a few more songs and release an EP. A Sky Harbor has already started touring and plans on continuing to spread their music across the country throughout the fall and well into the next year.
