A hint of synthesizer. A dash of keyboards. 1/2 tablespoon of mini-Korg. Mix with dance inducing, heart imploding bass and rhythms. Bake at 1080 degrees of room spinning choreography. Remove and let cool at full volume. And you've got Ask You In Gray. Indie pop with a purpose: A collective of artists, musicians and creative people moving and swaying to life's poly-rhythms This Chicago based duo sets a standard of art imitating life. Songs written from the crests and troughs of life. The ebb and flow. Full sail and doldrums.
Nick Wichman and Trey Tatum (aka Ask You In Gray) bring honest lyrics, intense rhythms, meditative melodies, and most of all, fun, to every aspect of their shows. To miss a show is to miss a unique experience each time, because no show is ever the same.
Ask You In Gray is a band that is quickly grasped, easily retained and addictively danceable. You'll be bobbing your head and singing along for days. See this band. Immediately.
(For Seattle): SHOWBOX January 15th, HEADLINING on Friday Night. Half the set will be ALL NEW SONGS released here first. Message or comment for ticket deals :)

Hey friends!! I'm glad to hear that you guys are still playing and working on music still. I hope Chicago is treating you well. When are you gonna come back to NoCo? We need to book another show together sometime in the near future. Keep in touch.
Hey dudes!! I concur wholeheartedly that we should hang, things are a bit insane now and up in the air, but we should have the schedule in the next couple weeks and then we'll have a much better view of our schedule up til then!
Thanks for the support! Not doing any live stuff currently, it's more of a studio thing for now. I'm hoping to work with other musicians to make some neat compilation stuff (a la Gorillaz).
