Next Pie:

A Slice of the Pie returns on June 8th 2008.

We are a loose collective of musicians and djs centered around the drunken gypsies jam band. We've been running this night since November 05, starting out over at The Rainbow Pub, followed by The King Edward and now The Bulls Head, Moseley. If you want to play send us a message. We have a fairly open music policy, trying to put on as wide a selection of talent as Birmingham has to offer. From indie to drum and bass, folk to metal.

As well as the acts we also have:
reggae and Hip-Hop DJs,
a resident Photographer taking band pictures (Check out his flickr),
and sometimes someone filming (heres the youtube),
and after the show theres often a bit of drum and bass to finish off the night.

We've already had on:
35 seconds,Chris Hand,Robin,Laughing in the face of...dj ATOM BOB,dj Limb,dj Tangent,dj Rickye,dj Risinity,dj Deacon,Road Eyes,Aural Bleach,dj Triker, the incredible dj SPLINTA,Aris,DJ H,The Fairytale, Dead Letter Office,The Rooters, I Bring the Rain, Maybedayz, Thee Moths, Reptiles, Cairde, Einstellung, Tsubo Soul, Fistful of Dynamite, Richard Chapell, Scrambled Man, Carvalho, Paperweight Industry, DJ Mcqueen, Marsyas, Force of Nature, (the mighty )I Bring The Rain, Hinge, Queensway, Marsyas, Drunken Gypsies, Force Of Nature Katlama, monday:session, Mechanimal & Kramer Vs. and many more, sorry if I forgot you.
All for an absurdly cheap 2 quid

Hi there, we were wondering if you could help us...

We've been looking for a drummer for about 4 months now and we've still had no luck.
If by any chance you know any drummers living around Reading, please let us know, your input would be much appreciated.

Also, we have lots of new stuff on our page - including a new track, as well as a few gigs you might want to come to, so why not visit our page and say hi!

Thanks

Whether your project is a 3-Track Demo, Live Concert, Performing to backing tracks, Full Album, or any other recording project, Cosmic will call on our experience so that you can concentrate on your creativity whilst we help produce the sound you are looking for.
