Aspersion is an electronic /pseudo industrial band out of Dallas, Texas. Featuring vocals by the lovely Rebecca, and music
and songwriting of Carson E. Day.
Aspersion offers a unique sound, bridging the gap between Electronic, Industrial, Goth and Dance. With thoughtful,
sometimes haunting lyrics, and infectious electronic textures, Aspersion manages to create songs of substance and
relevance. "Simplicity Of Belief" is a prime example. "It is a song about change and giving up something." says Carson. "
It could be a job, religion, a relationship, drugs, a dream, whatever. We all face times where we must grow beyond
something. To walk away and say 'enough'. And no matter how strong the conviction, we all have times, sometimes late at
night, when we are not strong. We want to go back in time. To go back to who we were before. To have the simplicity of
belief."
Aspersion has a featured remix on The Secret Meeting's "Shooting Laser Beams" single, available now.

In June of 2009, Aspersion dissolved it's live lineup to restructure and refocus. The band is currently working on booking new shows as a purely electronic act, which is closer to Aspersion's original vision. With the growing popularity or Live PA acts and DJ's, they hope they can bring their music to unexplored avenues.
