INSPIRE RECORDS a.k.a ASPIRASI RECORDS is began in my parent house in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. I don’t have any employee but all my lovely friends help me out by supporting and buying all the stuff. I began putting out records in 2001. INSPIRE RECORDS is a VERY SMALL LABEL!!!! And I've only release 2 records for one really great band called NOSTALGIA (melodic old school hc). And the latest release is THIS IS NOT A BREAK UP comp CD featuring local band plus a few bands from Japan and Singapore. "I LIKE BEING A LITTLE LABEL" This is how the label will remain. But I don't know what will happen in the future. I do this for the love of music, not for capitalist gain or status recognition. I only work with bands that are ANTI-RACIST, ANTI-SEXIST, ANTI-PREJUDICE, and who support the ideas of peace and unity. And any kind of music I’ll accept. In February 2007, we have done a major construction to our label. We have changed our name from ASPIRASI RECORDS to INSPIRE RECORDS due to some problem. Also I have a few nice people to help me handling the label. Miss Rozidalina and Mohd Farid as designer and Mohd Azlan handling mail-order section. Thanks to all these nice kids. Anyways, I hope you can grasp what this label is about. Thanks for your interest in Inspire Records.
