Since 1997, Saturn (San Antonio) based hip-hop collective Assasyn Dynasty has blessed stages throughout Texas and beyond. After releasing their ambitious Culture Sound Records vinyl single in 2003, Sacrifice w/ Vaccination, the six member supergroup has steadily built an underground following on the strength of their dynamic live sets, lyrical dexterity, and penchant for social commentary. With members hailing from Virginia, New Mexico, California and Texas, A.D. is rooted in a progressive worldview that stands in stark contrast to the commercial product that tends to dominate corporate rap.
