Assault on the Divine are a 3 piece rock band, hailing from Southend-on-Sea in Essex. They formed in the summer of 2007 in the purist of ways, by getting a bunch a decent musicians together in 1 room, tuning the guitars down to C, cranking the amps nice & loud, & laying down nothing but a no wholes barred jam. The idea was simple, no rules, if it worked we'd know, if it didn't we'd know. But fuck, did it work!
They begin writing material very quickly, keeping it heavy but with a nice groove, with plenty of peaks & troughs, & ripping choruses. They were confident that the material was strong, & if delivered with the powerful aggression that their rehearsals were producing, they could do no wrong.
Presently with the first shows under their belt, & fresh out of the studio with their first demo, the next stage is to work at that live sound, & play as many shows as possible, after all, thats the best way to become a great band & the only way Assault on the Divine want to do it!
