dj danny p first got into dj,ing way back in 1994 danny played varied styles of music getting a feel for the turntables and gradually falling in love with the whole concept of mixing.after a year or two building his skills on the turntables danny built up the confidence to enter a dj competition called vinyl meltdown. he only came second place, however he did win over a few of the judges that ran nights in his local area. despite only coming in second place danny was given the opportunity to play at a popular local night called contact.so danny played his first gig. and what a gig. the floor was packed and danny got on the decks and played what was described as 1 of the fattest funkiest techno sets heard for a while. this set lead to danny getting more and more bookings. after just a few years dj,ing danny p was well known for pulling out fat techno and tech house stompers and whipping crowds into a frenzy with his sets gradually building from minimal tech grooves into floor filling techno tracks. in the past few years danny p has had a terrific responce and has been lucky enough to play at clubs like enzo,s, contact, the red rooms, the wedgewood rooms, the subway, club eq, the sapphire club, the mud club, the jamm, the key london, certificate 18 in york, the vaults, the pier and other big nights spinning his grooves alongsige legends such as chris liberator, julian liberator, dave the drummer, the geezer, mark eg, m zone, josh wink, ed real, colin dale, nils hess, trevor rockliffe, justin robertson, dave robertson, jon gurd, fergie, tim cook, tommy mudell, chris vaux, simon blann and many other world class dj,s. last year danny p also took to the punchfunk stage at global gathering 2006 and played a set. now days danny p is a well established dj and continues to shake dancefloors around the south coast of england.

danny p started producing his own tracks in 1990 and called himself assault systems. he has had tracks of his played on american radio.

danny p, assault systems has also recently gained props from world class acts such as angel alanis, a squared subsonic recordings and uness and jedset. all in all its been a good few years for danny on the production side. Danny P aka Assault Systems, has been producing high quality tunes since 2000, having spread his sound with superb feedback across Sony's international website Acidplanet, and been recently signed to Beatsfactoy.com, whereby his regular outputs have been downloaded and played across the globe, he joined forces with Vortechtral and DJ Aura in 2006 to create Techtonic Recordings as an outlet for his own work. Danny also plays regularly at events around the South Coast of the UK, mixing a variety of stlyes from techno, electro house, to breaks and electro. danny p aka assault systems is thriving in his musical skills and continues to produce techno and electronic grooves that will rock any party.

danny p is now a budding talented techno dj and producer of high caliber. his first release was out late 2006 on his co owned label, techtonic records. the track is a fat funky techno groover with a bouncy bassline crispy percs and freaky fx. the track is available in digital format on all major download sites, ie beatport, track it down and dj download etc. assault systems second release is due out on 32 bit records in feb 2007. this 1 is a minimal detroit techno track thats pleasing to the ears yet funky enough to frazzle you. its called once upon a time in detroit and again it will be available in digital on all major download site and will also feature a remix by top london producer, bioni samp. assault systems third release is due out in march 2007 and will feature a track from the romanian tech house master, christian padurau. this will be a remix ep and will feature remixes of christians new track. remixes will be by assault systems, dj aura and vortechtral. assault systems also has some of his older unsigned tracks for free download. check out these links
