However, since she had to go and get married to someone else *sniff*, I've got room for a new celebrity crush with a lovely voice... Kelly Clarkson! She can sing to me all night... *sound of Hess' heart going pitter-pat*

| | Movies | I really love action-adventure and Sci-fi. I am THE Star Wars geek; Darth Vader is my idol. And you gotta admit, he has some EXCELLENT taste in the ladies :-D
I love military movies! Tora!Tora!Tora! is prolly the best WWII movie ever. Saving Private Ryan, Patton, We Were Soldiers, Blackhawk Down, Enemy At the Gates, U-571... I could go on and on. But here's two movies I avoid LIKE THE PLAGUE, and I suggest you do too: Disney's P-O-S love triangle with a war in the background called "Pearl Harbor", and the Nick Cage love-fest that fails to focus on what's TRULY important to the plot and has no sense of combat tactics WHATSOEVER, "Windtalkers". Two movies with quite a bit of potential that miserably failed to do the job. I weep for the future of Hollywood. | | Television | OK, I hate to admit it, but I've had to amend this. Previously, it said, "I don't watch it. At all. Television is the root of most of the evils of society today. *shudders* reality tv.... *curls into the fetal position*" which is still 99.9 per cent true. But I've gotten HOOKED on Battlestar Galactica! Damn, that's a pretty ship! I can't wait to see season three... | | Books | Robert A Heinlein, Anne McCaffrey, Harry Turtledove. Read them, know them, love them. I also really enjoyed the Bantam Spectra Star Wars novels, but Del Rey (and specifically R A Salvatore) screwed things over for all of us. I blame Del Rey and that bastard Salvatore for Jar Jar Binks, Jango Fett, and a Geonosian Death Star *grrr* | | Heroes | Chesty Puller!
