Our main goal is to gain exposure for local indie artists and musicians through networking, marketing, promotion and exposure in all aspects of the music industry. We are striving to create the largest independent union of musicians. The more exposure and support we get from you, the more you will benefit from what we have to offer. My name is Christy (SassDeluxe), and I started as an AIA rep in Chicago, and am now taking on our northeast hub as well. Having lived in New England for most of my life, I grew up around the Boston/New England music scene, and it is one of the best in the world. I wanted to get this page up and running so we can start showcasing some of that great music talent that is pouring out of the Boston area. I am still running the Chicago page as well, so come over there and say hello!! I am also the DJ and co-host for our new radio show, AIA Live, which premiers on BlogTalkRadio.com in January '08....oh yeah, I am also the Director of Artist Development...a photographer and stationery designer...

To answer a question that is being posed quite often. When you join our friends list on any of our AIA pages you are a member of the AIA. It is a bronze level membership that will be transferable to our main website upon completion. Other membership options will be explained in greater detail upon launch of the main AIA web site.
