Assorted Fruits and Cheeses is a weekly radio program on WRVU 91.1 FM Nashville, hosted by DJs Ben, Laura and Abby and on the air since 2006! Tune in each week for a delectable hour of the finest assorted musical morsels-- from the platters of 60s soul to folk, indie rock and 70s psychedelia, klezmer, jazz, and most everything in between. The show is broadcast live from Vanderbilt University campus on Thursday evenings from 5:00-7:00 PM, and can be heard on the FM airwaves or on the web at www.wrvu.org.

DJ Ben enjoys walking in space. He does his best to bring all that is ripe and fresh to AFAC, and is always up for a good concert. He is currently studying at New York University, and is back for the summer as a maitre-DJ on WRVU.

DJ Laura is like the Bleu to Ben's Gruyere--she tends to make things funkaay! She's got a passion for Oldies & Klezmer, and is always up for a Harry Potter Trivia challenge. When not DJing, she's busting a move to 90's tunes and perfecting the art of being a Back Door Man. She's also the mastermind behind many a puzzling Either/Or Question on the show!


DJ Abby is the most recent maitre-DJ on the AFAC lineup. She's got a hankerin' for soul, funk, and almost everything in between, and is always up for a game of Bananagrams. With her tunes in the mix, The Fruits and Cheeses will be ripe and ready fo' rockin'.
