In the end of the 90s a thrash metal band by the name of Bloody Omen was formed in the french town of Aurillac. Its members were Marc D, Matthiew P and Antoine S.
The group recorded 6 tracks demo before breaking up in 2003.
Marc and Matthieuw continued to play in the band Astaroth, in which they perform Black Metal.
But Astaroth's line up was not completed until Julien G joined and later Justin. They quickly started to rehearsal, but the next year just before recording their first demo Justin had to leave the drums for personals reasons.
Drum were now handled by Julien and, Invoking A Dark Fullmoon, a 7 tracks demo was released in summer 2004 (This demo has been reedited on tape by Infernal Kommando Records HERE . Immediatly, Astaroth played their first live show at Aurillac then principaly Clermont-Ferrand and Lyon.
In 2006, Astaroth began to work on a full-lenght album "L'ère Des Chatiments", because of coordination problems among members, the album was finished in 2007. The band is searching a label now ... At the same time they are writing new songs.
