Astralon is a band from Athens, Greece, consisting of two musicians : Yiannis Folias and Vassilis Mourikis. The band formed at 2000.
But it was 2004 that they had their first two releases, one participation in Universal records "Greek Electro vol. 1" compilation, with the early form of "Precious" tune and another one in DNAlab's "Dark project" with the reconstructed "Twisting Reality".At the beginning of 2005 they released their first CD, a mini-lp containing 5 tunes, including "La Carte" which became a club hit. Supported by RockFM radio station, "Precious" e.p. was released by the exceptional DNAlab records. They've been on stage supporting VNV Nation, DAF, Bermuda Triangle, S.I.T.D., Kirlian Camera, Combichrist, Melotron and Soman, among others.
Yiannis and Vassilis are also members of a new project called "EgoStrike" together with Manolis and Yiannis from the band Notte
