Astroliths unique musical pallet is influenced by Blues, Classical, Jazz and Rock. Beautiful vocals, melodic keyboards and intelligent lyrics combine with energetic guitar and powerful rhythms to create their signature sound.
SCOTT BUTLER: Drums & Percussion-
Scott has a technical rock style that acknowledges primal rhythms. He is also Lyricist and Arranger taking musical ideas and transforming them into orchestrated works.
CAYLA BUTLER: Vocals & Keyboards-
Caylas soulful voice conveys with passion the emotion and philosophy in our songs. Her piano and keyboard melodies bring both beauty and power to our music.
LAWRENCE LANGVA: "Lead" Bass Guitar-
Every band in the progressive genre needs an element of virtuosity. With his varied experience and lightning chops, Lawrence supplies this and more.

It is important to feed the intellect and the spirit. One of the best ways to do this is through music. Exploring both the primal and intellectual aspects of music, rhythm and melody, strength and beauty, simultaneously is challenging at best. There are few bands with the capacity to do both. ASTROLITH has all the tools needed to nourish both heart and mind.
Open your mind and follow your heart is the mantra behind the content of ASTROLITHs songs. Through words and music ASTROLITH paints a cohesive picture and lets you experience with them the emotion that inspired their songs. The melancholy piano and heart beat in the introduction to Perfect High create the atmosphere to tell the story of a relative dying from complications of a life time of drug addiction. The back and forth of the serine piano led melody to the heavy primal rhythm in the verse of Inspiration Point is meant to accentuate the confusion denoted in the lyrics.
Subject matter ranging from love to politics to social ills and personal issues we all face helps create the diversity of ASTROLITHs music. Their eclectic musical backgrounds and tastes afford them the ability to pursue many different styles, while maintaining what is uniquely ASTROLITH. The River has a decidedly Cajun bounce to it. Transcendent love is an acoustic and hand drum ballad. Double bass drum and aggressive guitar give Missing the Giving a heavy rock sound.
Balancing musicianship with musicality, intricacy with emotion, is the mission of ASTROLITH. Stylized music, stunning vocals, heavy drums, intricate guitar, melodic bass, beautiful keyboards, coupled with emotive and intelligent lyrics make ASTROLITH difficult to categorize. You can just file them under good music!

Hi there Astrolith first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark the link below so that in the event that we do close our myspace account you won't lose contact with us. I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
We have also built a pretty big music community which you are welcome to join if you want to meet new artists like yourself!
HEY YOU! Havent been here in a while. Are you still a trio band? My husbands band is only three aswell. He says he likes it better that way because they all are professional with out the ego and power control which makes them a great band. I think you said you decided to keep your band that way too because it's so hard to find someone who can work with. Anyways, I hope your family has a great x mas. Talk later, Christine ;center>
Hi Astrolith, Thanks for taking the time to listen to our stuff and thanks for adding us. Out of curiosity, did you stumble across us, were you recommeded by anyone or did we send you an invite? Good to know how word is spreading! Best wishes..Mike and Nick (The Yeah You's)
