I encountered astrology around the age of four and up until june of '03 it was just a curiosity with sun signs. That June, however, it became an obsession. Anything I can use to understand people and events...why things are and work the way they do, I will use with a passion. That's what astrology is to me...a passion.

I'm curious about Kepler College in Washington and would like to go. Maybe I will. Time will tell.

I'm currently a part of a fairly new and exciting organization called AYA. AYA stands for Association for Young Astrolgers. The goal is to help support new astrologers by linking them with others and guiding them to the tools they need whether it's educational, professional or social in nature.

I got to go to my first astrology conference in May of 2004 and was blown away by being around so many people I look up to as well as finding myself among what I consider 'my own people.' I felt like I was finally home. This is an exciting time for me and I plan to be at this years NORWAC conference.

I'm familiar with western tropical astrology and can interpret a birth chart for psychological info as well as understanding progressions and transits. I use mostly the modern rulers for the signs...but know the classical. I understand the basic four asteroids as well as chiron and have a fairly decent understanding of all the ones currently provided in Solar Fire calculation software. I work with fixed stars, all major aspects and several minor ones like quintiles, biquintiles, quindeciles and I'm fascinated by the quincunx. I try to stick with small orbs to be confident that what I'm looking at is accurate.

I've made a lot of great friends in astrology in the last couple of years and I'm so glad the universe has brought me to this point.

My main goals involve writing, lecturing, researching, consulting and possibly helping to create better software. Although, that last one might take some time.
