マルチ・プレーヤー大山曜による15年ぶりの多重録音版アストゥーリアス。
アストゥーリアスは、80年代から90年代にかけてキングレコードから3作の多重録音作品をリリースした後沈黙していたが、2004年クラシカルな室内楽編成のアコースティック・アストゥーリアスとして復活し、2006年エイベックスからメジャーデビュー、2度の海外公演も成功させ国内外で好評を博している。
今回の作品は、バンド版での活動と平行して、リーダーの大山曜が初期アストゥーリアスの制作手法を復活させたもの。70年代プログレの感動を蘇らせた50分強の組曲による、近年稀に見る究極の傑作！津田＆花本（新●月）、栗原勉（Lu7）、平田聡（Flat122）、アコアスの3人他、豪華ゲスト参加。

アストゥーリアスはアコースティックバンド、多重録音編成に加え、よりプログレ色を強めたロックバンド・スタイルの”エレクトリック・アストゥーリアス”での活動もスタート。
