This is a pretty cool song. I thought I would share it with you guys in Tucson. I hope to come back soon. Like the winter when its not so freaking hot.
those who feel not the dance jones think the joneser mad...the only thing that could've kept me home last friday was my girlfriend in the hospital (so of course there we were). c u next time!
FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYTHING FUCKING SUCKS NOW!!! its very depressing not going anywhere anymore.. everywhere else is horrible. i hate everywhere else. im angry!!!! eerrrr fuck
I am deeply disturbed by the fact that we may have no place to go in town for our kind of culture, i have been with the Electronic music scene since the late 70's, i have seen it go up and down over the years. But it never got as good anywhere as it did at Asylum! Just one more thing in my life to mess with my love of this culture, first, Side-Line Music Magazine stopped publication at the beginning of the year, (they were the Bible of Electronic music!) then Musicnonstop goes out of business (the world's best mail-order service for Electronic music cds and dvds!) and now, Asylum is gone.... i feel blank and aimless without these sources...! Thanks, cruel world!
So, last night a coworker of mine turns to me and says, "So what do you do for fun on the weekends, Miss Lopez?" I frowned and replied, "I go to Asylum... but it may be closing." Her eyes got wide and her face filled with shock as she shrieked, "What?! It may be closing?! Damn! Asylum is the best club I've been to in Tucson... the first time I walked in, I was like 'finally, a place where people get dressed up and actually DANCE!' It was like home."
*sigh* "Like home"... *fingers crossed* I hope everyone's hard work in trying to save the club pays off! What's more, I hope people learn not to take good things for granted.
